We love to take on new work

A commission is often a labour of love, and rightly so, because when you ask us to make something for a unique occasion or setting you are very often motivated by love yourself.

What's the process?

First we will ask you to come round for a coffee to talk about the idea you have and to discuss with us why it is important to you. Perhaps you have pre-loved clothes or fabrics that you want transformed into a quilt, or you want to commission a portrait. Perhaps you would like some photographs to be taken of a place that is special to you, or you want a unique linocut to go on a wedding invite. We are open to all sorts of commissions and will discuss timescales and costs in a straightforward way. Bear in mind that there will be material costs and then the cost of our time to produce the item; more complex items take more time so we will help you think of ways to stay within your budget.
